Best Drop Spots on Ghillie Island, by Appetite for Trouble
Landing spots graded honestly: hot drops for fighters, balanced towns for learners, and quiet edges for players who loot in peace.

CONTENTS On this page
The best drop spot is the one that matches the match you want, and pretending otherwise is how guides lie. This list grades Ghillie's landing types by trouble level, drawn from the drop testing across ROS Legacy.
Hot: the big towns
The island's largest settlements are its arenas: fast loot, immediate neighbours, and a first fight inside ninety seconds whether you scheduled it or not. Land on a roof, take the first gun you see, and expect company. Hot drops build gun skill faster than anything and end more matches than anything, which is the same sentence twice.
Balanced: the mid settlements
Smaller towns and compound clusters are the sweet spot for most players: a full kit from a few buildings, one rival squad at most, and a clean rotation afterwards. If your first three matches followed our beginner plan, this is your graduation tier.
Quiet: the coastal edges
Farms, scattered houses and coastlines the plane route barely touches. Loot is thinner and slower, but you will leave geared and unshot at, with a vehicle question to solve and the circle already telling you a story. Quiet drops win percentage players more matches than heroics ever will. Choose the drop that matches your mood and ROS Legacy rewards honesty.

Quick Answers
Where should a total beginner land?
A quiet coastal cluster. Survival time is the first skill; gun skill comes second.
Do drop spots change with the plane route?
Completely. The same town is hot when the plane crosses it and empty when it does not. Read the route before you choose.
Is hot-dropping good practice?
In doses. Ten hot drops teach more gunplay than fifty quiet ones, at fifty times the frustration.
